"Terrible service food below standard"
A review of The Ship Inn by Natalie - Monday 20th of December 2010
As a large party we were expecting a few hiccups there were 12 of us 14 to begin with 2 cancelled on the day due to tummy bugs, having called the pub to notify them of this we were told we might as well have the meals as we still hd to pay for the. on arrival i offered the 2 extra meals to some children sat on opposite table, however when the rest of our pary arrived we were starters missing the roast turkey dinners were undercooked and when have you heard of fish being served with coleslaw ?. we were also sat in dark corner i was sat directly under tv and banged my haed upon standing, we were also given dissposable camera,s but upon lookin at these were solely for outdoor use and being sat in a dark corner the pictures would've been useless! we paid £252 just for food we were slightly annoyed that after eating were told that we had been given food that wasn't ours even though we had all paid for the extra 2 meals and that we were rude in am extremely annoyed and within an hour our whole party were up the road in the much friendly public house called the anchor
