"Aston Insulation dissapear"
A review of Aston Insulation by Mike of Hastings - Tuesday 1st of April 2008
In late 2007 I agreed to have Aston Insulation instal cavity wall lining to my house, under a scheme said to come via Hastings Borough Council, for £ 200.Their rep. came on 14th November, looked at property, left contract copy for work to be carried out but said it would not be until after Christmas. I later received a confirmation letter from them.
By mid January 2008 I had heard nothing further and tried to contact them and found their FreePhone number was no longer connected and their normal land line was never answered - at any of their branches - Exeter, Ashford (Kent), Isle of Wight, Weymouth, or Southampton (H.O.). I checked with Hastings Council who had never heard of the firm or recommended them.
Fortunately I had not paid them any money, nor do I want them to carry out this work now as obviously a dodgy company. As a specialist in fraud prevention I am glad they never caught me.
