Now under new management. This is a lovly historic place to visit. The oldest established pub in Southampton ( circa: 1237-1239 ad ). without a doubt the warmest, friendliest place I have visited in Southampton. The home cooked menu is fantastic and being upgraded every week. A fine selection of well kept real ales to choose from and a team of friendly staff to serve you. The landlady is a lovely lady who gives her all to make you feel at home. Go on. Give it a go. I did. And I won't look back!
