A review of Butts Road Community Centre Playgroup by Angela - Monday 19th of April 2010
My daughter attends Butts Road Community Centre Pre-school known offically as Sholing Community Centre Pre-school. It's a wonderful setting ran by a lady called Jenny Roles who's been the Pre-school Leader there for 25 years.
The children do some wonderful activities and because of the grounds they have plenty of indoor and outdoor options to choose from.
Each session has a structured timetable where the children experience all kinds of things to increase their exposure and achieve maximum learning.
We've seen Christmas Carole Concert, Chinese New Year, Easter Bonnet Parade, Charity Coffee Mornings, Mini Petting Farm came to visit and various field trips to other local attractions.
The teachers are constantly working to involve, education and excite the children and I would recommend Sholing Pre-school to anyone with young children. There's a very social side too where mum's meet and often children mix outside of the setting too.
I'll be sad to see my daughter leave and move onto Infant school this September but look forward to my son starting next year.
