They often have no real ales on new years eve they closed at 9.00pm (first time I've ever heard of a pub closing on new year).
went for a carvery after helping friends move house arrived at 8.50 to find the carvery was closed despite a group queing whilst we were complaing they felt it would be better to throw away their food rather than serve 8 hungry customers. For a carvery was very disappointed of its early closing.
After another visit the ale was off went to speak to assistant he just took the beer and said dont have it then no refund no replacement.closed for refurb after another flooding we thought we would give it another chance, Half the menu was off and after ordering a simple ceaser salad only to find they didnt have the ingredients ( tin of anchovies ) surely they should be stocked enough hey ho not even very appologetic
found it very tough to get refund finally did and rest assured even though i am lcal to this pub love the decor and patio I will never step into this pub again extremley bad Avoid. try southampton arms or the masterbuilder for better service.
